My granddaughter, Samantha, moved to San Diego just over a year ago, in August of 2018. Right before she moved...days before...she finally started dating the woman she had been crushing on for more than two years, Susan. Samantha and Susan slept here Saturday night, then drove to East Brunswick, NJ yesterday to introduce Sam to Susan's parents and brother. Sam turned up here a little after noon today and napped until she had to leave for the airport for her 6:00 p.m. flight to San Diego ( Read more... )

Going back until at least the mid-eighties...decades, not years...our family has always gotten together to celebrate Hanukkah. We also congregate at Thanksgiving and Passover, but Hanukkah is the holiday where we get the best attendance.
