As you may or may not recall, on Friday, August 7th, I fell, hard, on uneven pavement and ended up in the E.R. with what turned out to be a hairline fracture of the distal radius of my left hand; i.e. the thumb end of the big bone in my forearm. The E.R. splinted it and told me to see an orthopedist in a week.
