~~ today three DVDs came in the mail:
*Shallow Grave (Channel 4/PolyGram, 1994) wr. John Hodge, dir. Danny Boyle, With Kerry Fox, Christopher Eccleston, Ewan McGregor, Ken Stott. I did own this on VHS back in the day, but it went away somehow. Based on my complete love for Strumpet, I am eager to see this again.

Chapters or all at once, I don't mind as long as it is finished. I don't like fics that aren't finished.

Invisible Circus suffers from some horrific acting, but CE's look in it is pretty good in the present day scenes. WOWY is a bad film notable only for the extreme amount of Ecclesex on display.
Hum, I do not think you will change your mind much about CE's character on SG. It is hard watching someone descend into madness.
CE is absolutely amazing in Othello. You cannot take your eyes off of him. I am so surprised it did not get more mention at the time of it's release. It remains very difficult to find on DVD.
Did your son's school get damaged by the earthquake? Not good.
GitF is not one of my favorites and I can't decide whether it is because the Doctor seems a bit OOC, or the fact that he leaves Rose behind. These episodes of DW have won Hugos:
The Pandorica Opens / The Big Bang, The Waters of Mars, Blink, The Girl In The Fireplace in the Fireplace, and The Empty Child / The Doctor Dances.
Looking forward to the fic.

Eccleston's portrayal of Ben Jago in a modern day retelling of Othello (viz House of Cards) is mesmerizing. He is such a villain! You can't look away!!!

re WIP's, in general I tend to either avoid them unless I know the author, or wait until the final chapter is posted before starting to read. I hate being left hanging, and it's happened to me a couple of times now
