~~ today three DVDs came in the mail:
*Shallow Grave (Channel 4/PolyGram, 1994) wr. John Hodge, dir. Danny Boyle, With Kerry Fox, Christopher Eccleston, Ewan McGregor, Ken Stott. I did own this on VHS back in the day, but it went away somehow. Based on my complete love for Strumpet, I am eager to see this again.
*The Invisible Circus (2001) dir. Adam Brooks, with Cameron Diaz, Jordana Brewster, Christopher Eccleston and Blythe Danner. Based on Jennifer Egan's best-selling novel.
*The Revenger's Tragedy (2003) dir. Alex Cox, adapt. Frank Cottrell Boyce. with Christopher Eccleston, Derek Jacobi, Eddie Izzard. Based on The Revenger's Tragedy attrib. Thomas Middleton 1606. Sdtrk. by Chumbawamba!
--I got all three of these from a company called Amazing Media for a total of $15 including shipping. :)
~~ I went to a thrift store and found the perfect blue shirt to go with my brown pinstriped suit. Also three ties of varying Time Lordiness. :) Now all I need is a sonic screwdriver and nerdy specs (my actual specs are not black rimmed). I found out that there is a company called Magnoli Clothiers that actually tailors costume items -- you can get the brown and blue swirly tie for $60! A nice resource for folks who care about precision. My $2 ties are fine by me. :)
~~ I'm working on a long story right now. I wonder if folks have a preference about reading WIPs by chapter or if they prefer the finished piece? I guess I am happier trying to finish the piece and publish it when it's done?
