Does Tywin love his children?
Do you think Tywin loves his children? Yes, he did awful to things to them and tried to make them do what he wanted(presumably what he thought was best for them). But Atia from Rome does similar things and I don't doubt that she loves her kids. Of course it's hard to quantify love so I'll go by the "would he die for them" standard. For all Cersei's faults as a mother, I do think she would have changed places with Joffrey at the Purple Wedding if she could have. Jaime, on the other hand, would rather have had his hand back than his son. So, what about Tywin?
