Title: Did You See My...

Summary: There were few things Sungmin had lost, he wondered if Kyuhyun saw them.
"Kyuhyun ah, did you see my necklace?"
"What necklace?" Kyuhyun asked, didn’t turn away even for a second from the game he was playing.
Sungmin let out a frustrated sigh as he rummaged their drawers. "The one you gave me, the first gift I ever accepted from you. You remember it, right?"
"Ne? What does it look like?" asked the magnae, made the elder slightly hurt. The necklace was so special to Sungmin, because it was Kyuhyun’s first gift and it was given when Kyuhyun asked Sungmin out. But Kyuhyun himself easily forgot it.
"It’s silver chained. There’s a bunny shaped pendant on it."
"Oh. No, I didn’t see it.”
Disappointed, Sungmin went out of the room angrily and visited Yewook’s room, wondering if perhaps he had accidentally left it there. While Kyuhyun didn’t even know if he just made his hyung more upset.

"Kyuhyun ah, did you see where my happiness is?"
"Huh? You’re sad? Why?” Kyuhyun asked, didn’t turn away even for a second from the game he was playing.
Sungmin let out a frustrated sigh as hugged his knees close, hiding his tear-stained face on them. "I’m tired, Kyuhyun..." He managed to say through his sobs, hoping his boyfriend would lend him at least ears to listen, or probably shoulders to lean.
"Oh. Just take a rest, then."
It was an expected answer, really, but Sungmin still felt disappointed. He felt tired with all his tight schedules but he had no one to share his burdens with like Donghae to Eunhyuk or Ryeowook to Yesung. His roommate’s attitude only made it all worse.

"Kyuhyun ah, did you see my heart?"
This time, Kyuhyun turned. His face clearly showed confusion. "Your heart?"
"Yeah, cause I seem to have lost it." Sungmin looked out through his window, expressionless. And it finally hit Kyuhyun, made him realize how lousy he had been all this time.
"Didn’t you give your heart to me when I asked you out? Why do you think it’s lost?" Kyuhyun asked, despite the pain that slowly tortured him.
Sungmin didn’t tear his gaze from the outside’s view. "I did. But to know how you treat me, I little by little stole it back. And now I lost it."
"Your problem. If only you let your heart with me, it’ll have cracks but it won’t be lost."
Sungmin nodded. "I know."

"Kyuhyun ah, did you see my soul?" came a soft whisper, carried with the wind. Sungmin asked the question still, although he already knew the answer.
Kyuhyun focused his eyes on Sungmin, but he didn’t answer anything. He only cried silently, regretting everything. His lover’s eyes, which had lost their happy shines for long, were now closed. His heart, which he complained about being lost, didn’t even beat anymore. Kyuhyun’s hands moved to wear the finally found necklace on Sungmin before they took him for the funeral.
"Oh, so you’re dead." Kyuhyun tried so hard to say those words. After all, it was always his answer, right? "Take a good rest, Sungmin. Goodbye."
