Since you were born, you never acknowledged the word ‘lose’. You always got whatever you desired. You won everything because you believed there was nothing you couldn’t do. You thought you would always be the winner in every competition you joined. Be it first rank at school, dancing, singing, you mastered all of them.
But then you met him. You finally realized that it was all wrong.

The loser has to fall
He showed you that his voice was so God-like and you had to accept that he just beat you in singing. He joined a year later than you did but yet he had more fans than you now, means he had beaten you in popularity.
Sometimes you thought this was unfair. You got to know that all people shone in their own specialty, like Eunhyuk in dancing or Siwon in acting, so you accepted if they defeated you in some fields. But you felt it unfair if he beat you in every field.
You had tried to hate him with all your might. You had ignored him. You believed what Donghae said about Kyuhyun being a Starcraft-addicted alien because sure, Kyuhyun wasn’t a human. No human could do all perfect like him. You knew you were so childish, being jealous and all, but you didn’t care. Your goal was to hate your roommate and nothing else mattered.
But then you realized one more thing Kyuhyun had won from you. It was your heart. Followed by your attention, your worries, your silent cries at night… They all now were directed to the one and only Cho Kyuhyun, while the person himself never knew. You weren’t used to tell others how you felt, so you kept your thoughts just for yourself.

And as if they weren’t enough, he became one of the lead dancers in Miina and you had to agree that he danced better than you.
Sometimes you spared few minutes of your busy schedules to sip a cup of coffee and think if you had understood this and that. You knew you still mused how this was not fair. But you didn’t hate Kyuhyun anymore. Simply because you couldn’t. Your heart was gone and you couldn’t love nor hate anything.
You kept trying to improve your multi abilities though, hoping that at least you were just behind Kyuhyun. You had let him being the winner, so you would just try to be the runner-up, the only one standing close to him, the only one shining behind him. After all, that was the only thing you could do.
