New icon for the first time in ever. I feel... like it is entirely appropriate with the person I am. (I didn't make it and being the moron I am, I forgot to take down who to give credit to :( )
In other news, in a fit of panic, I re-updated my cover letter and resume.
I want to state now, for the record, because I don't think I have, that the ONE good thing I got out of my internship... was a well-written resume and a cover letter template. And reading through it again, my cover letter FOR my internships was MADE OF WIN. Obviously, I wish I could just use it for the jobs I'm aiming at, but they're really generalized ones and the cover letter was specifically geared for International Studies and politics-lined work... buuuuut it's still given me a basis of awesome
I just have to tweak things here and there on my resume, adding bits I feel need to be there and editing the superfluous stuff. Blackboard is being a fucktard (again) and won't let me access my transcripts so I can finish updating (like adding my major GPA, which, I think is 3.8, but am not positive)
Let's stay proactive, Kim. Let's. LET'S. Get on the ball. Start freaking out about not doing ANYTHING since you stopped working in January. So long as you keep freaking out about not being productive, you'll actually get stuff done! [/pep-talk]
(((Also: I have a killer ingrown hangnail on my left ring finger. I poke it and it starts bleeding/leaking. And it's SO inflamed. I made a point thank my mom for those genetics last night...)))
