Suikyu Yankees!
Suikyu Yankees is one of the summer dramas that's so unexpectedly good. I was not expecting too much in this youth drama but it turns-out to be really funny.
I never thought that Nakajima Yuto can be really effective in comedy. Though he may deem stupid because of his yankee look and attitude, the way he say his lines and his facial contortions are just cute.
There's also the "baka trio" of Nakagawa Taishi, Chiba Yudai, and Yoshizawa Ryo is a must-see since their scenes always involve some foolishness and when the three get bullied, you'll feel really sorry for them that you want to avenge them. XD
Yamazaki Kento is back in his "35-sai koukousei" persona where he comes off as cool and aloof. I'm sure that there will some drama with Yamazaki involve (something that I don't look forward to) but I hope he won't be a "spoiler" of fun things.
All in all, "Suikyu Yankees" is a must-watch, speedos aside, it's fun and really engaging.
