Frantic, Frenzied Friday
I've looked over the previous recs, and I can see that the HG/SS corner of Potterdom had been well covered. So I'll rec other ships. For instance
An Eye For An Eye, by Arsenic Jade (DM/SS/HP)
In this story, all three characters are flawed and hurt. For once, Draco is the balancing element, between a sick Severus and a neurotic Harry. Someone has already recommended "anything, anything by Arsenic Jade", and I can only second that. I also love her HG/SS/RL stories.
Bite Me, Hate Memes, by Pir8fancier (HP/DM)
Draco Malfoy hates change. And bluee foods. And Harry Potter - just ask him, he's the only person who knows how to hate harry. This Draco is both delightfully psychotic and astonishingly bright. And Harry embraces the whole.
Beech Hall, by Aucta Sinistra (HP/SS)
Harry buys a house that doesn't like him. Snape comes there to hide from remaining Death Eaters. They're both pretty uncertain, but finally...
Like all of Aucta Sinistra's story, this one is a mine of wonderful quotes:

"Were you planning to get off me any time soon?" Snape said. "Or am I expected to carry you around like an extremely large barnacle for the rest of my life?"
Alliance, by Leni Jess (HP/SS)
After Voldemort's defeat, Dumbledore wants his two "sons" to get along. But once they do, he finds they can't be managed...
It's, obviously, written pre-HBP. I'm not the first one to recommend Leni Jess's stories, and I encourage you to go read them all.

Professor Severus Snape teached organic chemistry in Oxfort. His new assistant is a young man called Harry Potter. An no, this is not AU. On top of the story, I recommend Perselus's beautiful artses.
Stick, by Abstractconcept (HP/SS)
A simple, contemplative story on remorse, love and the passing of seasons.

A very, very long, and very, very well done cycle of stories about Vincent and Catherine - G-rated, stops just before their wedding night...
But there are some rather hot stories in that fandom.
