Why I fangirl this: JUST LOOK AT THE AMAZING DETAIL! It beautifully depicts their situation right then and there. And look, their eyes are closed, and they look so happy!! But goodness, look at his hand and how he cups her jaw; look at how she leans into him; look at the dent on her cheeks his nose makes! The many different varieties of shading and color is brilliant. And can I just stress again how detailed this is? Down to the very last bit! Gorgeous piece of artwork.

Why I fangirl this: I always have a soft spot for photomanipulations because it takes a lot of work, effort, and coordination to get everything perfectly. And this piece precisely has all of it. The emotions on everyone's face is perfectly executed, and Severus just looks so concerned and happy at the same time to see Hermione. The way his hands were maniped to comfort and envelop her body just makes me swoon with delight. Lovely job.

Why I fangirl this: I cannot articulate into coherent words how beautiful this is. I love the detail, I love the setting, and I love their expressions. And good God, look at how the artist drew his teaching robes/outfit! Look at all the shading and effort that went on in every jar or bottle. Again, breathtaking.

Why I fangirl this: VECTOR ART!!!! I am gushing over how amazing this piece is! And I tell you from experience--though absolutely dreadful--that vectoring takes a lot of time. To produce the amazing range of depth and perception takes a very long time. Eyeballing it, I would say there were at least 30,000 layers in the artist's photoshop palette if they used such technique. Every time you look at the artwork, you notice something new. I can stare at this piece all day. The artist also has other wonderful pieces of art to showcase, so I suggest you take a gander!

The angst is absolutely brilliant. The story slowly, and I MEAN SLOWLY, builds into an eventual SS/HG lovestory that just has the audience in awe. This story is absolutely one my top five favorites, and one that I always recommend to people. Severus and Hermione's relationship builds so slow that you zoom through this story like no tomorrow. But, savor each and every moment.

The absolute sadness, grief, and emptiness that falls upon Severus and Hermione is so powerful, that I felt like I was experiencing it first hand. My heart just wrenches from the pain that the two go through, and how they find solace within each other. This story is just so beautifully written. I love it to pieces.

Why I fangirl this: Another heart wrenching story is right! The details and little nuances weave such powerful imageries in the story. The abuse that Hermione goes through makes me wince just thinking about it. When I read it for the first time, I shuddered, I gasped, I felt utterly uncomfortable reading about the horrid and monstrous acts. This story made me HATE Lucius Malfoy for what he did to Hermione, Severus, and Draco. And coming from a person who OT3s Lucius/Hermione/Severus (AND STILL DOES), I realized how deep this story was. For me to dispise Lucius like that calls for a great round of applause to chrmisha. This story can stand alone, or be read first, and followed to by sequel Resolution (the rec after this). Every detail and description felt so real. I was constantly getting goosebumps *shudders* What a brilliant story.

She encounters some nasty situations that make the reader take such empathy with her given what she has gone through. Severus tries his best to be there for him, and to show her what it really means to love and be loved, instead of the sick ideals Lucius has instilled in her. I promise this is a happy ending &hearts
