Why I fan-girl this: Kihin Ranno is one of the rare authors that can really write the senshi/shitennou pairings well, especially Minako/Kunzite.
“She held Kunzite’s gaze for a few moments, seeming to become more enraged with each passing second. Eventually, she dropped it altogether, unable to look at the leader of the Shitennou. She started shaking like a leaf, looking as if she wanted to cry, collapse, or die. But she would not allow herself to. Not at that moment. Not with them watching.”
Or maybe just not with Kunzite watching.
And suddenly, Mamoru felt that he understood everything."
You really get the feel of how much Minako is affected by Kunzite in this particular scene and I love the way Minako shows such strength, but also weakness in the face of one she loved and lost to betrayal.

Why I fangirl this:The author does a wonderful job of showing how Usagi really “gets” Mamoru and understands the depth of how his past affects his actions towards their relationship.

Why I fangirl this: I love “what if” fics, where that one change really revamps the original canon and
changes the way a character develops. A definite must read, the formatting is a little wonky so be fore-warned.

Why I fangirl this: Few pre-OotP fics hold up to the test of time as well as Never Alone does. I love the author's interpretation of Snape and at times wished canon Snape was as well developed as BBR's Snape. WARNING: Not for the faint of heart, deals with child abuse and has some very violent imagery.

Why I fangirl this: Some fics surprise you, and it was definitely a surprise for me that I liked this fic. I am not big on O.Cs and usually at the first hint that the lead characters are going to be original fan-made characters I hit the back button. This fic is one of the few exceptions to that rule. A very interesting and fun read for anyone that is a fan of time-travel.

Why I fangirl this: The action scenes are marvelously written and the way she weaves mythology into the story without muddling up the plot is truly fantastic.

Why I fangirl this: This fic honestly feels like the script for what Episode 4 of the game would (and should) have been like. The author really captures the world and the characters perfectly, and I also loved that the fic was told from MOMO and Jr's perspective.

Why I fangirl this: Classified as a ship fic but I think any fan of House could enjoy stories. Well-written and a very realistic handling of both the Chronic pain and addiction story-line and I loved that this author does not gloss over the gory details that come from these issues.
