Hey eveyone, Sorry for not using a cut.  Everytime I do I lose half of my post!  Damn technology.....  *glares at monitor*

I'm all set to take a spin on the fangirl_tour  and hold up the slash end of things!  I dip into multiple fandoms, but there were so many hard choices to be made in the Harry Potter fandom, that I ended up pulling all 13 recs from that

Thanks for the Drarry recs too! Can't wait to read some, but I'm definitely putting snegurochka lee's fic in first place. I love everything I've ever read by Lee, and I hadn't come across this before.

Thanks! Although I'm tearing my hair out that the formating is all f**ked up. Everytime I go to fix it I lose a rec or two. Did it come out with a cut and 13 recs for you? Maybe it's just me.... grrr....

I'm not up until next week (Monday), but my friend Lariope was a few weeks ago and she told me in a panic to start formatting now, and even then, don't expect it to go through correctly! She said it took her over an hour to put up a post that had already been written and only needed to be copied and pasted.

Something about the Fangirl Tour sites seems to thwart us! I don't look forward to my turn, as far as that goes, LOL!!!

But don't worry, you did fine. And look at how many people write a novel on their journal and don't bother with a cut at all, LOL!

well, I don't mind the cut not working so much as losing 4 of my freaking recs! Gah! That was a lot of work! What's weird is I rec all the time on crack_broom and I've never had this much trouble!

I'm going back in there and find my recs! *girds loins*

Yeah, I had the formatting screw-ups, too. It took me hours to straighten out. It looked fine as written, but evidently something happens when you actually post.

I never did figure out what the overall problem was; I just kept re-doing each one over and over until eventually they all worked at the same time. But no sooner do you fix one than another one goes nuts. . .

Great art recs. I've never been much of an m/m slasher (femslash is my thing), but these stories look like a good place to start.

Thanks for the kind words. I really hate having my post not under a cut, but it's fine until I cut it then, wham!, I lose 4 recs! Oh well....

I have your rec post bookmarked because I have so few pointers to good femslash--we can lead each other!

I'm looking forward to perverse_idyll in particular; she writes such good blurbs for her crack_broom recs that I'm sure her stories are excellent. And I'll be doing femslash recs for crack_broom myself in September, so you can see what you think. They'll be pretty Minerva-centric, though!

Oh yes, perverse_idyll is one of the most amazing writers in fandom, imo. And I say that even considering she's only written two works, as far as I know. They're both top shelf. And, you're right, her comments are stellar! :D

I'll keep an eye out for your recs at crack_broom--I love that com.
