Saguenay, Canada
After almost a fortnight of hurricane-dodging, we have finally arrived in Canada! The scenery around here is amazing, and although I know we are on the wrong coast for it, looks perfect for a grizzly bear to go salmon-fishing in the lakes. A volunteer historical reenactment group had set up on the quay this morning, and as well as all the usual historical stuff, they were giving away traditional maple taffy and blueberry pie! We had a hire car today and managed to see a lot of the local area (covering an area about the size of Devon), but the distances between all the places up here are so vast that there's an awful lot left to see. Next stop, Quebec.
