This is my second visit to Quebec, and I was very pleased to find that the boardwalk, which was being renovated when I was here two years ago, is now back in use. I walked all the way along it, enjoying the views over the Appalachian and the Laurentian mountains. The city is kept in amazing condition - some of the buildings are well over 300 years old but they look as if they were only built yesterday. I also went on the ferry across the river to the city of Levis, which has such posh houses that I think it must be where the wealthiest residents live! This afternoon we took the electric bus into the old city, which was quite an experience because it was full to capacity and struggled to get up the hill - to the extent that I thought some of us were going to have to get out and push.
