Seeking a specific Loki/Tony fic
This has been driving me nuts, because the Avengers fandom is just too large to find a story through brute force searching (even though I know this is a very popular, highly-recced fic -- I just can't seem to find the right rec list!) The problem is that I went through a stretch where I read a ton of Avengers fic at one time, so I'm probably getting some of my details muddled. Thus, I'm only going to include details that I'm sure have to do with this story, even if I'm not sure about the overall plot.
-This is an Avengers fic, Loki/Tony Stark pairing, long (at least 30,000+ words, possibly much, much longer), and I read it at least six months ago, so it's not really recent.
-One running thread to the plot is that Loki is still playing at being a supervillain, but he's not putting forth his best effort and while property damage is still running high, no one is really getting hurt. This is noticed by the Avengers (I remember Clint specifically mentioning it).
-There's one distinctive scene in which Tony has been thrown into a building and is buried under rubble. He's bleeding out in the suit and the rest of the team can't get to him in time. Loki is there and heals him enough so that he can survive until he's rescued. (This may be the precipitating event in Loki's shift in behavior.)
Does this ring any bells?
