Specific fic where Deans a firefighter
This is an old one I can't find anymore. Sam gets mad at dean and says he wishes that either Dean wasn't his brother or that Sam didn't have a brother at all. He gets his wish and Dean disappears.
Sam finds Dean during a small town festival. Dean is a local fireman and doesn't know who Sam is. However he feels Protective over Sam anyway.
I think Sam is trying to jar Deans memories when demons attack and set Deans family home on fire maybe killing his "father."
I think Dean is even going by another name. Maybe Jake?
