Catching up and a break

Didn't mean to slack off there with the posting last week, but in all honesty, there wasn't much to say.  (I did read all your entries, even if I didn't have a chance to comment) I can sum up the past several days in just a few words:

freezing temps, cleaning house, writing, reading, wasting time on computer, watching TV with hubby, dealing with behavior problems in school, spending time with my family.

So really, nothing much of interest to say.  I did finish a difficult scene last week and am really excited about the next section I get to work on because I've been piecing it together in my head since July and feel very ready to write it now.  I'm without a vacuum for a week and half because it hasn't been working properly for a while and we finally got fed up enough and took it in to get repaired.  It's still under warranty so it won't cost us anything, thank goodness.  Gonna do some shopping and then spend time with T today and maybe get some writing in.

All you Doctor Who fans finally got to me and so Chriss and I have been watching it on Netflix.  We just finished the first season last night.  There were a few episodes we didn't much care for, but overall, I think we're hooked.  Although I have to admit I'm kinda disappointed Christopher Eccleston only did one season.  I rather liked him.  But, I know a lot of people who say David Tennant is their favorite Doctor so I'm gonna keep an open mind.

And now for my last little of rambling before I go.  Every few months, I start getting daily tension headaches, usually brought on by too much reading/computer time.  I think I'm hitting one of those cycles, made even worse by the sinus headaches I had with that awful cold that lasted for so long.  I can't spend more than a few minutes at the computer before my head starts hurting so bad I can hardly think.  Which means it's time for a break.  A computer break, mind you, not a writing break.  I've got my handy-dandy notebook (oh goodness, I've been watching too much Nick Jr., haven't I?) to write in.  But this does mean that I won't be on the computer much and therefore not posting much and catching up with my friends page only intermittently.  Hopefully it won't last more than a week.  Until then...  don't forget me!  : )

randomness, that's life
