Today, the staff of Café Fina was humming a slightly different tune than usual. Instead of their usual upbeat, surprisingly modern musical tastes (given that the serving staff mostly hailed from a couple hundred years ago. Except the weasels, who hailed from the basement), they were all settling into something more... classical ( Read more... )

Jude had Plans. Unfortunately, his Plans required a backer. And in this case, the backer would have to be the manager of the fanciest restaurant in town - territory with which Jude had but a passing familiarity.

So rather nervously and with metaphorical cap in hand, Jude entered into that imposing edifice.

( In other words, he had to see a candelabra about a chicken. )

It was your everyday, abnormal Friday at Fina, really. Singing, dancing, and serving, all done by animate inanimate objects.

Today was a dancing sort of day. Not for any particular reason, really. Lumiere just felt like dancing. Preferably with someone. Preferably female. Preferably attractive.
