Kurogane had no idea that today was any sort of holiday, he just thought that the untensils being all dressed up in old fashioned clothing that was red, white and blue was just them being crazy.

The ingredients shipment that had just come in for the cafe had completely boggled Fai. It included a large amount of something wiggly and creepy and vaguely fishy, all factors that made Fai shudder and leave the staff to it.

Kurogane, on the other hand, was completely unphazed by the squid.

The staff was happy to find ways to prepare it.

It was quiet, Kurogane liked that. It wasn't often that a sense of peace and tranquility managed to settle around the cafe and the ninja seemed to finally start to unwind a little.

Until Mokona ran across the floor riding an egg beater, whooting and hollering like a bullrider.

The moment was gone, back to the daily grind.

The past weekend had been quite entertaining, but of course was now something that was Not To Be Mentioned Again. At least it was for a certain cranky ninja.

Care Fina was back to its normal self, with the owners present and human again. The staff almost seemed a little envious, somehow.

There were a dog and cat chasing each other around the cafe, thankfully not destroying anything but causeing a lot of distraction. The Flatware seemed to have everything under control though even with the owners turning into animals.

Kurogane was only too glad that they had missed out on the fandom weirdness that had hit last weekend. He wasn't sure if he could handle a second dose of twins, Fai probably would have had another break down...
