Verity had been in Baltimore all weekend, looking for a potential dance partner for competitions and events. But it was hard work, trying to find someone whose style meshed with yours, whose personality meshed with yours, and who you could probably trust to zip you into the tiny costumes competitions required without doing something to get their fingers broken. All of that (mixed in with getting to know some of the local cryptids) had left Verity ignorant of all the extra children on the island.
Which mostly meant that she was confused by Tiny's sign and not offended by it. She still spent most of the evening arguing with him about whether or not he had to take it down.
