Kanan came into Luke's an hour late today, having never been told about daylight savings, braced for pancake disaster.

There was nothing. No pancakes, no waffles. No crepes. Or, at least, no more than was usual for a diner on a Sunday morning. The cook dished out a plate of bacon, eggs, and toast for a customer. Kanan stood and watched the goings-on in the kitchen for a moment in silent bemusement before getting to work.

All-day brunch!
Because who even knows what time it is right now anyway, right?

"I'm missing something here," Kanan muttered as he wiped down a counter. "I have to be."
