Kanan had arrived just a little too late to work today.
No, he was actually on time for his shift, but he was far, far too late to stop the cook from committing another pancake-apocalypse in the kitchen.
"We don't even have a big order this morning," Kanan pointed out.
"I thought Sundays were just pancake days, now," the cook replied.

Kanan sighed, and then dove to rescue the busboy from yet another pancake landslide. He suspected that the busboy had been in the pancake danger zone entirely in the hopes that Kanan would use the Force to stop pancake disaster again, this time.
