But it did bring the arrival of the Homecoming Fall Festival, which was open nice and early for everyone to get playing around and mingling. There was an area set up for you to all hear the headliners today: the Caritas zombies!

While everyone was going around having fun, the zombies were playing stuff off their own albums along with plenty of covers, and also Tino would occasionally pop out to fire a T-shirt gun from the stage, so enjoy that!

There's plenty of seating in front of the stage. Sit and watch all day if you want. They won't mind, they're zombies!

Apparently Aeryn was just ready to take in all the weird this event had to offer, because she was sitting in a chair, leaning forward with her forearms on her knees and her chin resting on her fist, looking for all the world like she didn't get it.

Also Tino's gun was stupid and she planned on telling him so later.

And of course the zombies were going to have merchandise to sell. There were shirts- new ones, even!- their first two CDs, stickers and posters! How could you not want this stuff?

How did Éponine get dragged into this? She was actually asking herself that as she sat at the merchandise table and nibbled at her funnel cake, mostly because she was wondering how she got to be the sort of person that had actual friends who actually thought she'd be willing to help out when asked. And asked.

And got her to agree, even if it didn't benefit her in any way.

She wasn't complaining about this turn of events! It was just kind of perplexing.

This was pretty great - their own local band! Cecil liked to support local music. So, before his pie-booth shift, he was here to help out. He waved at the zombies and sat to watch and try to get folks to buy things. And bought a shirt himself, of course!
