Soooo the carnival was out this year, due to that whole murder carnival this summer. But it did bring the arrival of the Homecoming Fall Festival, which was open nice and early for everyone to get playing around and mingling. There were plenty of spaces to eat and people watch, or to catch up with old friends! Also there were fall-themed centerpieces, which yes, were fake and covered in glitter.

Everything was terrible back home, so it had been good timing to get away for the weekend. Not only did Jaina need a break from things sucking, but she thought it might take the heat off Jag for a little bit. Hopefully.

Jaina found a seat to watch everything and take in everything that was different this year while looking for faces she recognized. Also there was already glitter on her hands and she had no idea how that happened, she hadn't even touched anything.
