Molly entered the store, once again the picture of innocence, but alone today. Pulling a piece of paper out of her pocket long enough to sneak a peak at it, she began to wander up and down the aisles trying to look like she was just casually shopping.
Studied casualness is so much less casual than real casualness. Edmund looks up and sends Lizzy to follow Molly through the aisles.
Chances were good, thought Edmund blackly, that the robot dog, influenced by Pippi as she was, would just wag at the girl in the hat no matter what she did.
Molly had already picked up Windex, curling ribbon, a notepad, a pencil sharpener (non electric) and M&Ms (peanut) when she stopped in front of the shoe polish. She checked her list again, but no, Angel hadn't specified a color. She contemplated the selection for a while and finally, with a shrug, picked up a container of black because you could never go wrong with black. Especially when you were talking about Angel.
It was only as she turned to hunt for the last two items on her list that she noticed the robot dog. "Hello, metal puppy," she said with a grin.
Walter came in with a set list of things in mind. He moved quickly through the aisles, ignoring Blackadder until he came up the counter to check out, setting some good cuts of meat, some vegetables that would grill well with a slight brine marinade, and a bottle of wine.
The look he gave Blackadder dared the man to tell him he couldn't buy the wine.
However, drinking ages are a thing of Edmund's future and he simply rang up Walter's purchases, grateful that the boy didn't seem inclined to play with Lizzy, who was examining his sockless ankles.

It's possible his snark secretary bot still had him a bit unsettled.
He passed Blackadder the cash for his purchases and left.
