Caritas- Saturday
Jaina had had some errands to run today, which meant taking a trip to the mainland.
She didn't celebrate Christmas (well, okay, she had in the past, but it'd been years), so maybe she could be forgiven for not realizing what a mistake it was to try going into a store on a Saturday before, namely the Saturday exactly a week before. So Jaina got to work today juuuust on time thanks to the lines just trying to get out of anywhere, and a little frustrated thanks to giving up while in said lines and leaving without anything she'd actually gone for. Suddenly she understood why online shopping existed.
It didn't help that Tino had set the TV in the back room to Lifetime. Nothing like having to listen to bad made for TV Christmas movies starring washed up actors and Chad Michael Murray.
