Zack had been out and about, merrily taking down what he figured had to be the last of the monsters that were milling around the island.

"Nope," he said, wide-eyed as he stared up at the giant freaking dinosaur thing that made its way out of the waves. "Totally not the last of it."

Annja was not pleased to see a giant version of the GODZILLA that she had fought start coming towards the island out of the ocean.

"Damn it."

This was not going to be a very good day.

Dru had been reloading after picking off a bunch of smaller creatures.

Okay, Jak had to admit he hadn't seen that coming.

Which was a revelation that lasted all of five seconds before he was yanking his morph gun out of its straps. Figuring out how to take it out was more important than boggling.

Azula ventured to the beach, spoiling for a fight when the earth began to shake. She steadied herself on a nearby boulder and blinked when an enormous lizard creature emerged reared up from the ocean.

"Well," she said, after the surprise wore off. "I wanted a fight."

There was something deeply bred into her that made her turn at the sounds of a churning ocean. "Eh?" Distracted, Blossom took a hit in the stomach from the monkey pony ugly and momentarily retreated into the sky to figure out what was happening now.

"Ah! A real kaiju!" She grabbed her phone and snapped a picture fangirling, then suddenly frowned. Wait, wait. This was not a good thing! If this was a kaiju's first appearance, then, according to all the movies, he wasn't a good guy yet, right? And even if he was, the town was going to be destroyed and people hurt...

She finished her pon-key-mon battle with a flying kick then headed towards the new threat to her home.

Bobby had been, much like several other people in this post Fandom, out and about fighting monster-things when... giant monster.

"I think I saw a movie like this once," he commented, more than a little nervous about actually using his powers in front of people, but it's not like there really was any other option.

Jaina had been out on what had become her usual patrol this week, but ground shaking kind of caught her attention. Nothing good ever started with that, she'd learned. And then when she saw a giant lizard- gianter than the ones she had been fighting- she began mentally judging it against the kind of things the Vong had thrown at her and decided this was going to be a new personal size record for her.

She didn't make a witty comment, sorry. Next time!

Oh right, of course there was a giant lizard-thing that looked like it should be trying to eat Manhattan.

On one hand, it wasn't Strigoi. On the other, it was a giant freaking lizard. Right.

Rose tilted her head to watch it for a moment, trying to figure out how exactly to get after this thing.

Kurt ran out into the street and staggered to a stop. His jaw dropped, his eyes opened wide, and he looked up at the sky in horror. He pointed at GODZILLA and screamed, "MONSTER!!!!!"
