Once more, Gunther was patrolling the lobby with his rolling pin and the sous chef was guarding the back door with a meat cleaver in hand. Mary also had her gun within reach at the front desk. She hoped that she wouldn't have to use it, but she wouldn't hesitate if any of the undead posed a threat.

Jack came shuffling through the lobby door, slowly lurching with all the grace that the undead could muster. This place... Could it be...?

"Braaaaaains! Fooooooood?"

Gunther immediately came running with his rolling pin, and Mary grabbed her gun. "You missed the sign. We don't serve zombies here," she said.

unJack slumped his shoulders. Ew. Sandblasting the floors may be required to clean up what fell off just then. "Noooo braaaaains?"

"No brains," repeated Mary in a firm manner. "Now, turn around and get out, and take all of your pieces with you." She aimed her gun, and the sous chef came running over with his meat cleaver to back her up.

Sean had been as yet unable to find the lotion for his master. Boss. Whatever. Point being, he hadn't found it. And something in his zombified brain was telling him that the hotel was the right place to try -- maybe he could get upstairs to his room to check.

Of course, the actual thought process went something more like "Lotiooooon? Upstaaaaaaaairs? Then braaaaaains!" But even so. It was still remarkable logic for a zombie.

He lumbered across the lobby.

Mary had heard that Sean had become a zombie, but actually seeing like this came as a bit of a shock. "Oh, Sean, don't take this the wrong way, but you look awful!" she said.

"Maaaaaaary!" he gurgled happily, pleased that she knew who he was. It was kind of sad how many people were so scared to see zombies.

"How the heck did this happen?" asked Mary, relaxing her grip on her gun for the moment.
