Homecoming Carnival Part I - The Park - Friday afternoon

A series of tents (in various sizes) and covered walkways had sprung up all over the park by midday. There were lots of open spaces, but one could easily get to any part of the carnival without venturing out into the sunlight. Only some of the seating and the big rides - the Ferris wheel, swings, and merry-go-round sat out in the open

Concessions

Any Carnival food you like: corndogs, cotton candy, hot dogs, funnel cakes, deep fried snickers on a stick, etc.

Katara went straight up to the concessions stand and ordered cotton candy, a funnel cake, and lemonade. The girl might be a bit hyper later.

Yeah. Like Chad is ever able to avoid the concessions at these things. Foooooood!

Naomi went over to the concessions and after a few minutes of trying to decide what she wanted to get she ended up choosing a hot dog.

Billy had himself a funnel cake, and spotted Naomi. "Hey there. Want some cake from a funnel?"

"Hi Billy," Naomi smilled, "sure, I'll try some,"

Billy held out the plate to her. "Careful, don't spoil your dinner."

Naomi grinned as she took some of the cake, "I'll be careful,"

"So, any of the amusements here catch your eye?"

[ktarian_wildman]

"They all look pretty good," Naomi said, "I'm not sure which one I want to try first,"

"May I make a suggestion then?"

[ktarian_wildman]

"Sure go ahead,"

[l1ttle_billy]

"Ferris Wheel?"

[ktarian_wildman]

Naomi nodded, "that sounds good,"

[l1ttle_billy]

"I think it's that way." Billy pointed to the big wheel towering above them. "But I'm not sure."

[ktarian_wildman]

"We can go and have a look if it's there?"
