Aziraphale was pretty certain he'd only managed to convince Lucifer to come sparring with him because the Adversary figured it would be the easiest way to get him to shut up about it. It wasn't like anyone had any doubts that one of them would be getting their arse kicked, and it wouldn't be the retired Prince of Hell. But Aziraphale also figured it would be a good learning experience for him. After all, if he was going to continue getting into fights with godlings and the angry shades of the divine dead, it might behoove him to get used to fighting something a great deal stronger than him.
Also, for some reason, Wilson was very decidedly behind this plan, and probably wouldn't have let the angel back down from it anyway.
So there they were, wings flared and swords flashing, dueling in the middle of the park.
[ooc: Sparring is for the two angels only, but the post is open for anyone to stop and watch -- they might even take a minute to talk -- or to use for other non-sparring purposes. They're only using one small section of the park, so feel free to not notice if you prefer.
