Rikku was trying not to pace. She was supposed to be out here looking like bait. Bait didn't pace. So she was trying not to.

She'd left a note for Jude and dashed back to the locker to get her Godhand ... maybe it was a little conspicuous, but no way was she taking on whatever-this-was without it.

"So, uh." She cleared her throat and bounced on her toes a little, nodding to Dean. "You do this kinda thing often?"

Savannah had her hands dropped at her side and had already started preparing a Knock-Back spell. Eve was a few feet away and she was looking just as focused as Savannah felt.

This asshole had attacked friends. This asshole had tried to kill other students.

This asshole needed to die, plain and simple.

Jason stopped when he saw the water. This wasn't the lake. But that didn't matter. These campers were just as bad. Just a rotten. Just as deserving of the punishment. He'd kill them all. For his ma.
