This time Billy had his sword drawn right away. And he wasn't walking, he was lying in wait up a tree. And he wasn't alone this time either.

Billy crouched on a branch over hanging the path, ready to spring down and maybe cut that knife out of the bastard's hand.

Liz saw Jason and summoned flames in her hands, preparing to do whatever she could to stop him.

Jason's grip was strong on his machete as he spotted Liz and moved towards her, raising his weapon.

Billy fought the urge to shout 'Yo Joe!' or 'Cobra!' as he leaped from the tree, katana coming down hard at Jason's wrist.

Jason took another step forward before Billy landed, the katana slicing down through nothing at all. Jason then turned to face his would-be aerial attacker.

Billy swore and immediately took another swipe at Jason's knife hand. He now had a big bulky dead thing between him and any fire that might come this way.

Liz could feel her powers reacting to the fear that she was feeling. Her flames were starting to get bigger but she managed to keep them under control.

Jason ignored the cuts that Billy slashed through his body, and turned to look at Liz.

More fire. Ma wouldn't like more fire.

"Hey!" Billy yelled, stabbing his sword towards the back of Jason's skull. "Look at me when I'm talking to you!"

Liz gulped when she saw Jason looking at her and stepped backwards, she focused on her flames, she was still not prepared to start using them.

Jason's skull deflected part of the blade, but he turned around to face Billy again. A fist went to slam against his shoulder, hoping to knock him forward.

Billy'd been thrown slightly off balance by the deflected jab. "Jeez you've got a hard head-ow!"

The blow connected and he took a step forward before regaining his balance.
