When he saw Xander's eye patch he had brief vision of Nadine and her silent drape runners before shaking it off.
"Good day, sir," Dale said with a grin. "I was wondering if you had any vacancies here at the complex."

"Shut it, Mad." Syvvie shook her head. "Don't mind her. We'd love an apartment, darling. Something to share, not too many steps though, we're getting up there in years, and Maddie's knees aren't so good."

He did his now familiar screen-spinny maneuver to show the floorplans. "There's a big two-bedroom on the second floor, and a little one in the sub-basement. Elevators both places, so stairs shouldn't really be an issue."
