The Gulch's security was mainly alarm which notified Tex immediately. But it was the lousy singing that alerted her to someone being in the store. Damn, she hated that song.

She didn't waste any time hurrying down the stairs of the apartment. She probably did recognise him, but simply didn't care as she didn't hesitate trying to deck him.

Not quite the reaction he had been going for. That was just, ow. Though it was nice to know she had one hell of an arm on her in case he wanted another sparring partner.

One that might end with sexy results.

"Ahllet," He said, poking his maybe broken jaw hesitantly before pushing it back into place and speaking more clearly. "Wallet."

Tex crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow, knowing right away what he was talking about. "Why would I give you anything, you just broke into my store."

Never mind that she did steal his wallet.
