The usual sign was out front, advertising the teacher discount.

Mazikeen stood behind the bar, staring down at it. It was so clean. She could see her face in it. She poured a glass of wine, setting on the bar for a few minutes before 'accidentally' knocking it over. Ah, cleanliness taken care of.

The Devil's Nest was open for business!

Mazikeen was wiping up the spilled wine because she doubted customers would understand the overly clean bar thing.

In talking to Aziraphale, Wilson had realized a small tactical error since Teal Deer would be playing at Caritas that night but it wasn't as if happy hours couldn't be held other times as well.

The quiet atmosphere of the Nest was more in line with the young doctor's energy level anyway and so he bundled up and headed down, arm looped in with the angel's. The pair was chuckling over a shared joke as they came through the door and headed for the bar.

"Good evening, Mazikeen." Wilson greeted the woman with a pleasent smile.

Aziraphale still thought it was a good idea, and pointed out that there was no reason people couldn't stop for a drink in more than one place. Settling onto a stool next to Wilson's, he nodded a greeting at Mazikeen as well.

"Scotch, please," he said with a smile.

After a few quick minutes, the drink was poured and set down on the extremely clean bar. All this was done without the usual glaring.

It was the shiny, shiny bar's fault for that.

The tables looked so clean they sparkled. It was an interesting look to say the least.

Arm in arm, Aziraphale and Wilson headed over to the lounge, approaching Lucifer's table. Not wanting to be rude, the angel didn't sit down, or pull out a chair for the other man, but he smiled at the Adversary.

"Good evening, my dear. I should tell you that the scotch appears to be particularly good tonight. At least, it seems to be extra special, by the way James is enjoying it."

Wilson rolled his eyes but like-wise, was minding his manners and didn't help himself to a chair.

"As they say, abscense and the heart growing fonder, right?" Wilson smiled. "Good evening, Lucifer."

After a rather awkward conversation with Wilson, Marie and Jamie headed out to the dance floor. Marie just hoped she could dance in her leather.

"Well, I think we definitely achieved the 'something no one would expect from us' thing," she commented.

Jamie slipped his arms around Marie's waist. "Is it okay if I lead? Even if I wear a dress?"
