After an invigorating night of … stamp collecting … Wilson and Aziraphale slept in a bit, for them at least and enjoyed some … errr … more stamp collecting before finally getting up and starting their day. Showers went a long way to helping a person wake up, yet Wilson still brewed a pot of coffee to supplement his tea intake and he puttered

He couldn't stay away from the kitchen for long, though. Not with the young doctor baking, and the delicious scents making their way through the apartment. So eventually the books were left to be finished another time, and the angel slipped into the kitchen, taking a seat up on one of the counters so he could steal bits of pineapple.
"You're going slow, so Miss Sciuto gets to share in the fun, aren't you love?"

"Have you ever tried to skin and core a pineapple, love? Believe me, it takes time." Wilson muttered as he turned to yet another section of pineapple to work on.
"How are the books coming along?"
He was curious to see what parts of the angel's own library the man had summoned and would probably spend a good hour once Phale had everything sorted, poking about on the shelves. For himself, he'd had the angel bring all his medical texts and journals. He had a mind to do some writing at least, to suppliment his income from teaching and to keep his name circulating in oncology circles while he stayed on Fandom.
"Oh! That reminds me, were you able to find and summon my laptop?"
A bit different from the worried, fretful mortal who got all flustered if the angel so much as miracled tea, isn't he?

"I keep telling you that it would be much easier if you'd let me deal with the pineapple, love," he replied, leaning over to steal a quick kiss as well.
"The books are coming along, although I rather miss Kiki's skills at organizing them. And yes, you'll find your laptop on the desk, along with all of the files you'd collected, and your notebooks."
The angel had been careful to retrieve every bit of material associated with the research and writing that Wilson had been doing over the past couple of years, knowing that his lover would be looking for it.
"I, er...also brought your guitar."

Nodding along as Phale listed what he'd brought over, Wilson's head came up at the news about his guitar.
"My guitar?" Dark eyes twinkled. "Hmmmm, should I assume you'll be wanting me to play, said guitar from time to time?"

She bounced up to Wilson and Aziraphale's door, wearing a lab coat and carrying two cups of Caf-Pow and stopped in shock. "Whoa. Furniture."

Hearing her at the door, the front door standing almost directly across from the kitchen, Wilson walked over and poked his head through the archway.
"Hey there, Abby! I thought I heard you. Come on in."

She turned in a circle as she walked towards the kitchen. "There's something hinky about all of this."
Reply
"Is there? You don't like the kitchen table? I always found the tiling to be best for using as a work surface and an eating surface."
He knew that wasn't the case but gently teased anyway. Hopefully he wouldn't get Caf-Pow up the nose for his efforts.

Besides, he really should get to know the neighbors.
He rapped on the door frame to announce himself. "Mornin'."

"Good morning, Reverend." He greeted Jesse with a friendly smile. "Come on in."

After all...there was flour around and that could get messy.
"Yes, in a manner of speaking. Come on in to the kitchen, I've got coffee and tea...have you had breakfast yet?"

"Hello there, neighbor?" He couldn't remember having met Elliot yet. "And it's a bit of one, food... coffee...tea...cream cheese frosting bowl and cake batter to arm wrestle over. Come on in."

She held out her hand for Wilson to shake. "Before I eat all your food? I should introduce myself. I'm Elliot and I teach at the high school."
Reply
"Dr. James Wilson and I will also be teaching up at the high school. It's a pleasure to meet you. Come on in and make yourself at home, I'll grab you a cup of coffee and then we can do the 'so..what are you teaching' song and dance."
