A lot of people tend to give to big charities like AIDS or cancer research, because they're so high profile - and that's amazing too, but so much can often be done with relatively little money to greatly improve the lives of those with disabilities. It really makes a difference.
Entirely unrelated, I find post-mutilation Sands strangely arousing, which is just ever-so slightly disturbing.
I love this movie, and my boyfriend does too. When I showed it to him for the first time, his first comment was "this is awesome! How have I not seen this movie before?"
