What in blue blazes possessed you to let number 4 in? Jeez, talk about eye-scarring. Switch it out for the Too Big one, because at least that is legible.

Well, there's the fact that it broke no rules, is readable, and seems a legitimate secret. I can't ban secrets because of your personal dislike of walls of colorful text, unfortunately, or make exceptions because you say so. That would hardly be fair.

Does anyone know a place where you can get books ID'd by people online? I read a book 15+ years ago. It was like Harry potter and Diane young wizard books. It was a kid (can't rember if male or female) who went to ireland (scotland?) and starting being involed in old magics like ruins and the like. Spells had lots of y's and w's in them and I vaguely recall them having a metal...siguel? sigel? seagel? Sorry io can't remember mroe specifics, it was so long ago. maybe 3 or 4 books in the series? at some point i think main character is hit with lightning, maybe magic lightning, and their metal seguel was hot and burnt an imitation of it and it's pattern into main char's arm (sorry I remember that the word started with s and had an l, but I don't know the actual word)

Star = sun, not star = planet.

Not entirely right about that.

Taken from Wikipedia:

"After the Moon, it [Venus] is the brightest natural object in the night sky [...]. [...]Venus reaches its maximum brightness shortly before sunrise or shortly after sunset, for which reason it has been known as the Morning Star or Evening Star."

So, yeah, while they may not all be called stars moons and planets can be perceived as such by us.

Only really due to extremely close relative proximity. Hardly the very distant stars the OP is posting about.

I got into quantum physics because of Doctor Who, and I minored in biochemistry because of the RE, so...right there with you.

I've been seriously considering getting into engineering because of Doctor Who. I want the Doctor's ability to throw together improbable inventions on the fly and fix anything. I doubt I could do as much actual adventuring with quantum physics, it seems a lot of sitting around in academic circles.

And I want to be a virologist because of Briar's Book.

...Your reason sounds cooler, ngl. :)

We can be awesome virologists together!

Of all the things Sands could inspire you to do, donating money for training guide dogs is probably the best possible scenario. XD

Sands! <3

This secret makes me wish there was a sequel about Sands being an amazing bastard with the help of a guide dog.
