Name the fandom. And repeats, etc. Any questions or errors made in the post should go here!

That was 18 words exactly, though!

I'm exactly the same, anon. I'm all like 'oh god what if they see this and think I'm a terrible person because of the way I phrased it? Aaaargh!' *flail*

It doesn't help that I have some IRL friends on Twitter as well and I worry they will judge me for tweeting celebrities :/

Me too, totally. No need to worry, this is completely natural.

I only tweet celebrities when I'm drunk so...

It seems silly to worry, but I don't want to sound weird or creepy or whatever. Hence the alcohol.

I really wish people would stop conflating the SPN fandom with the show. Yes, I know the fandom gets up to some shit. That has nothing to do with the show itself.

OP can disregard if they meant that they dislike the show as well, but I've often seen people fail to make this distinction and not watch this awesome show because of it. Just don't go to the fandom, you guys.

MTE. I barely interact with the fandom and I LOVE Spn, so there are ways to be into a show without touching the fandom.

Which also proves there are fans of shows that may be nothing like what fandom is like because some of us just don't get involved, shocking but true.

Yeah, the SPN fandom is nutters. I've been watching this show since it first aired, and sometimes I wish I could... magically bestow that personal attachment and fandom-disconnect to the folks who were introduced to SPN through twisted smut, ship wars, Livejournal, Tumblr and F!S. It is worth a damn. It's not the best show on television, but there's a reason it's attracted a ridiculous fanbase.

Supernatural fandom =/= Supernatural

What does that even mean? I can barely remember that scene... were the crocodiles planning to eat the hippos? Am I correct in remembering that one of the crocs tried to catch one of the hippos and was flattened? Were there ostriches involved?

Ehhh. My interpretation has always been that the crocodiles' interest in the hippos (etc.) was... romantic, shall we say? And forceful. It's a little uncomfortable on a rewatch... or maybe they intended to eat them. I'm honestly not sure which is worse.

Aside from that you are correct on both counts, there are ostriches and one of the crocodiles is indeed flattened. :3

The entire scene is actually based on an opera from which the segment is taken from, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Gioconda_(opera)

Ben Ali Gator's interest in Hyacinth Hippo IS romantic. Though he's probably the only one who got romantic pursuit right in there.
