That's three Hollis Mason secrets in two days. Minor character love, ftw.

Cliches become cliches for a reason they are popular....
I had the opposite problem I asked for a simple 'cliched' fic a couple of years ago hoping for an original take on a common storyline( not under this lj name).
I got a sexless pretentious pseudo literary fantasy story that was full of long words and had no real structure.
Properly cooked burger tastes 100% better than over cooked steak. Do what you've said you'll do to the best of your ability and with good grace. No one could expect more. (Needless to say I gave honest but positive feedback to my authur...because she clearly put a great deal into the fic and my writing skills are not so great that I feel able to despise the work of others)

Aww :(

I bet that no matter what you drew for this person, they'd probably whinge about how it's ~not how they imagined it.~ Whore.

THIS. This this this this. I can only hope, even after Jordan's death, that-- Wait, there's a graphic novel in the making?

... Let's just hope it's not as wordy as the books. But I digress.

THIS. It's just lengthy and detailed and convoluted enough to work! And it doesn't necessarily have to be "anime." There are some good Western-animated cartoons out there. Though I think in the end, a cartoon is a cartoon is a cartoon and I agree with you 100 percent.

Wait, is this a show or a movie? Because if they start turning the books into movies, I might actually be able to read the books. I LOVE "The Eye of the World" but haven't made it through the first chapter of "The Great Hunt" yet.

I do this too, but not every night only the nights where I'm too stressed and can't relax enough to fall asleep. Then I think about something fannish, usually about my otp's sleeping hahaha. (or about a mary-sueish part vulcan princess being escorted on the enterprise, shhhhhh don't tell anyone)

I do this on nights where I'm incredibly stressed or anxious and can't sleep, and it usually works. Except I've been doing this with the same pairing since I was 15, haha

It does help to think of situations like that to sleep... it's nice and calming. :)
