5th Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

John Dorian is sitting in the 5th floor common room, attempting to conceal very large quantities of paint. However, he is not doing a very good job about it, so anyone poking their head in can probably see not only that there is paint, but that there seems to be inordinate number of pastels. Cally peeked her head into the common room, and noticed the paint.

"Okay, who are you and what are you planning on doing to my common room?" Cally asked, as she walked up to JD.

JD looked shifty, having never met this person before.

"Nothing. Nothing at all. I'mcertainlynotplanningonpaintingthecommonroom"

Doh!

"Oh," Cally said, then smiled. "That's totally okay. But ya didn't answer the first part of the question."

[girlsnamehere]

"Oh, right. I'm JD."

He said his name as smoothly as possible, but, given his age, its quite likely his voice squeaked. Just a little.

JD held out his hand.

Bel wandered through the common room on his way back to his room. He paused. "Huh? What the hell is going on here?"

JD tried to kick his feet up over some poorly concealed paint, which had not yet been broken out for it's final purpose.

"Uh, art. Project that is. An art project. Do you like art?"

[demonbelthazor]

"You wanna paint the walls, be my guest," Bel said. "But that better not be pink."

[girlsnamehere]

JD pushed a rouge can back into the pile, hiding it from sight?

"Do I look like a pink kinda guy to you?"

It's more of a pale coral, really.

Blair wandered upstairs and raised his eyebrow at the not-quite hidden paint. "What's going on up here?"

[girlsnamehere]

JD, having had to answer this question multiple times, waves frantically.

"Paint! It's paint! And you know what I'm going to do with it? I'm going to paint!"

Blair blinked at the waving and nodded. "Oookay, man. What're you going to paint?"

[girlsnamehere]

"The walls. Some of us the other night decided the walls could use some more personality."

[strongestgirl]

"Hey JD! Ooooh! Paint! Haaay! You're not going to try and paint over Proty are you?"

[girlsnamehere]

JD looked suddenly nervous and horrified at the same time.

"I would never paint over Proty!"

Even if he is creepy.

JD pointed towards Blair, "We're just gonna add some personality to the rest of the room."

"Oh good." Pippi bounced a bit. "Can I help?"

[girlsnamehere]

"Of course you can help," Oh, love of my life.

"There are brushes on the table."

"Well, well," Pip said from the doorway. "What are we doing here?"

JD figured that the cat was already out the bag and he was a bit distracted at the moment, defending his manhood to Bel. He pointed off-handedly at the paint brushes and the paint.

"We're painting the common room. Proty needs some company."

JD snerked to himself as he imagined Pip, for a moment, having paint dumped on his head.

"Sounds cool," Pip said. "Have an extra brush?"

JD tossed one over from the table, making an extra effort not to aim for his head.
