5th Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

John Dorian is sitting in the 5th floor common room, attempting to conceal very large quantities of paint. However, he is not doing a very good job about it, so anyone poking their head in can probably see not only that there is paint, but that there seems to be inordinate number of pastels. "Well, well," Pip said from the doorway. "What are we doing here?"

[girlsnamehere]

JD figured that the cat was already out the bag and he was a bit distracted at the moment, defending his manhood to Bel. He pointed off-handedly at the paint brushes and the paint.

"We're painting the common room. Proty needs some company."

JD snerked to himself as he imagined Pip, for a moment, having paint dumped on his head.

"Sounds cool," Pip said. "Have an extra brush?"

[girlsnamehere]

JD tossed one over from the table, making an extra effort not to aim for his head.

Pip managed to catch it by the end. "You would never believe how much work I had to do to just get that to work," Pip said.

[girlsnamehere]

JD raised an eyebrow.

"Really?"

[cyclopeanmerc]

"Yep," Pip responded. He tapped the side of his head near the eye. "Depth perception."

[girlsnamehere]

JD nodded. "Right. I didn't even think about that. It must be hard only having one eye."

JD completely fails to realize the meaning of the word tact.

Pip shrugged. "You get used to it."

[girlsnamehere]

"What happened to it?"

JD seems completely innocent and oblivious to the fact that he is actually being rather rude. He seems to be painting a snake gun and making idle conversation.

Pip grimaced. "...I don't really think I know you well enough for that story," he said.

[strongestgirl]

"Painting!" she'd gotten some black on her nose.

[cyclopeanmerc]

Pip smiled a litte. "You've got paint on your nose," he said.

[strongestgirl]

Pippi crossed her eyes trying to see the paint on her nose.

She tried to wipe it off with the side of her hand but it only smudged the black paint and got a streak of blue on her cheek.

"Did I get it?"

[cyclopeanmerc]

"...Not exactly," Pip said, cracking a small smile.

[strongestgirl]

"No?" She rubbed her nose with her other hand.

This time she got all the black off her nose, but now she had some orange on her other cheek.

"How 'bout now?"
