Susan, wanting to check on her brother rather badly after finally hearing the news (and realsing no, she didn't have anything like a bizarre form of laryngitus), arrived at the first floor of the Fandom High dorms and immediately pulled out her cell phone.

Peter. Are you there? It's Susan, I'm in the dorm lobby.

Jack had leapt to his feet when the doors had opened, but settled back when he saw it wasn't anyone he knew.

He wiped off his latest game of hangman (s _ _ g g _ n g) and scribbled out:

Hi, Jack Harkness. Who are you? and held it up, waiting for her to finish with her phone.

Susan looked up from her phone, then blinked at the student there. She typed quickly into her phone, then turned it around.

Susan Pevensie. School counselor. I'm visiting my brother. Nice to meet you?

He peered at it then wrote: Hi, Susan. Most people think so.

He showed her the board, grinning, then held out his hand.

Sam finally found Jack, after practically doing laps of the dorms looking for him.

Breathing heavily and quickly after the rush of adrenaline, Sam smacked Jack's arm and glared at him, then sat down on the couch to wait. She grabbed his whiteboard.

Any sign?

He shook his head and leaned heavily against her, not even reacting to the smack.

Jack hugged her back, resting his forehead against her shoulder, then offered her a small smile and reached for the whiteboard.

Jamie wandered by and looked around the lobby as though he was looking for someone. He gave Jack a distracted wave.
