Susan, wanting to check on her brother rather badly after finally hearing the news (and realsing no, she didn't have anything like a bizarre form of laryngitus), arrived at the first floor of the Fandom High dorms and immediately pulled out her cell phone.
Peter. Are you there? It's Susan, I'm in the dorm lobby.
Jack nodded, slumping slightly, but he tried to smile his thanks, returning to sit on the couch where he could see the door. He pointed to the spot next to him and cocked an eyebrow questioningly.
Peter. Are you there? It's Susan, I'm in the dorm lobby.

Hi, Jack Harkness. Who are you? and held it up, waiting for her to finish with her phone.
