Sunday wasn't exactly a study day, but he'd had a slow week and didn't want to fall behind. He worked better with other people around and so had his Chemistry homework out in front of him. Jack was sitting cross-legged on the floor, occasionally glancing at the door as if hoping for a distraction.
There was a small white kitten wandering into the common room like she owned it. A little bit after her came a girl with long dark blue hair and white eyes who looked much less like she owned the place.
Really, all she'd wanted was apricot juice that the floor below was out of. Hinata hadn't expected all of the people and paused, a bit dubiously, in the doorway--they were all new people--while Yei went to investigate a... bit of fluff on the floor.
"It wasn't, but then Bobby opened the cookies and everyone started showing up. I thought it might have been a superpower thing, but it happened at home too whenever food was around, so it's probably a teenager thing."
"Going from the evidence here," she said, "it's probably a teenager thing. I am Hinata and that," with a nod to the white kitten slowly making her way for Jack's leg to sniff at it, "is Yei. I h-hope we're not bothering you?"
Jack held his hand out for the cat to sniff as well. "I think it's pretty safe to say you're not bothering anyone who doesn't want to be bothered. Anyone who takes a break from hiding out in their room is asking for it."
"I'm fast learning that no one cares what floor you're from as long as you're not destroying anything or using the last of the milk. Which is a roundabout way of saying, do whatever you want," he said kindly as he reached to scratch the cat on its head with a finger.
"Hi!" Bobby said, enthusiastically waving to the girl in the doorway. "Is that your cat? I like cats, but Mom never let me have one cause I'm allergic. Also I don't think she likes them very much."
"No! It's okay!" he replied quickly. "I just can't hold the cat or anything. Don't worry! I shouldn't've said anything but Jack tells me that I say stupid stuff a lot."

"I was merely surprised," she admitted, stepping into the room. "I was not expecting," a crowd of people she didn't know, "the room to be so busy."

"You may be right," she admitted. "But it's always best to check, in my opinion. Especially when this isn't my floor."

"I can--I can take her out of here," Hinata said, a bit worried. "I'm sorry. I d-didn't think about allergies." Ahhhh.

"I do not think telling someone you have an allergy they might trigger is stupid," she said, biting her lip.
