Wait, she'd forgotten one part.
"That's my name, I mean. Since I haven't met you before."

"I didn't know you smoked." He'd learn soon enough that this wasn't just a smoking roof. Maybe he'd learn.

"I have. I do, sometimes." When she got in an odd mood. It wasn't something she did regularly, though. The complete lack of an ability to be addicted was helpful there.
"I'm not at the moment, though. I'm just up here to be up here."

"How boring," he added, glancing at her again.

"Isn't it more boring to do the expected?" she asked. Then she shook her head, bunching up her purse to make her seat more comfortable.
"I like the view and the wind. How're you?"
A bit of a non-sequitor, but hopefully a forgivable one.

Though, really, the roof's purpose would have been better served had she come up two weeks ago, when she'd been all angsting and emo. As of now, she was in a fairly good mood. It was nice not to have classes on Mondays.
