Dinah had slept in a little, but still got to the Salle on time and only yawning slightly. "Hey," she said as she came in and put down her bag, squinting a little at Tahiri. "You ready for this? Sticks or staff or TK? Your choice." Let Tahiri make the call on what she was up for.

"What're you up for?" Tahiri asked, a little evasively; the squinting made her self-conscious. "I could go for TK --" again, something Riina couldn't do -- "but if you'd rather do something else that's okay too."

"Nope, TK's cool. Ooo! I've been learning smaller stuff from Professor Ghanima, some finesse." Dinah grinned, trying to think how to turn that into a game with the sparring. There didn't really seem to be a way, but, telekinesis was telekinesis. "Let me grab some padding, we can do the throwing again."

"And I could definitely use work with control," Tahiri agreed, all too conscious of that shortcoming. "We should set up a target practice thing sometime," she added, pulling on some of the padding herself. Gah.

Ben leaned in the doorway, watching her for a moment. "You're stiff," he observed.

Leto had decided that the best way to deal with this persistent boredom was to get some exercise. He had brought the flying blades, but when he entered and saw Tahiri and Dinah there he decided not to use them - too easy for someone to get hurt accidentally. It annoyed him a little, but this wasn't his private room, after all.

He picked up a short sword and drew his crysknife, preparing to launch attacks on one of the dummies. There would be no holding back, not today.

But he hadn't forgot his manners. Before starting he smiled and nodded in greeting to the others present.

"Hi, Leto," Tahiri said, her smile a little bit tired but genuine.

"Tahiri," he said, noticing how she felt. "How are you doing?"

"Keeping busy, mostly." She shrugged, studying his crysknife with half-focused interest. "How about you?"
