Isabel was up early and in the mood to actually cook for a change. So she was out in the kitchen mixing up a batch of banana nut muffins. So what if it came from a box? They'd still taste good. There was a fresh pot of coffee on the counter and Isabel was humming along with the music on her iPod as she cooked.
It didn't matter why Wyatt was on the fourth floor. What mattered was that he could smell coffee and muffins, two great things that taste great together. He walked into the common room and grinned. "Muffins, coffee, and a really cute girl. Now my morning is complete."
Wyatt walked over and leaned against the counter, accepting the coffee happily. "I don't know, just couldn't sleep anymore, I guess," he said. "I was feeling too restless to stay in my room." He took a sip of coffee. "Or possibly it's because I want to put as much distance between me and my squirrel-irritating roommate."
"Yeah, I don't sleep late myself anymore. So I figured I might as well get up and cook," she admitted. "Which works to your benefit." The timer buzzed and Isabel pulled the first tray of muffins from the oven. "Who's your roommate? And what did he do to aggravate the squirrels?"
Remembering radio and possibly swayed by the emo bang, Isabel held out the plate. "Yeah. You have. You deserve fresh baked goodies. How are you doing?"
Irulan was walking around the dorm when she smelled the unmistakable smell of good food. She walked into the common room, paused and sighed. Surely this will get the taste of the strawberry-tuna from her mouth?

"Will you be sharing whatever it is you're making?" he asked as soon as he came in.
