Fourth Floor Common Room, morning

Isabel was up early and in the mood to actually cook for a change. So she was out in the kitchen mixing up a batch of banana nut muffins. So what if it came from a box? They'd still taste good. There was a fresh pot of coffee on the counter and Isabel was humming along with the music on her iPod as she cooked.

Marco had no classes, so he made his way to the common room, hopping for food. "Morning."

"Hey Marco. Muffin?" Isabel offered.

[morpherboy]

"Nope, but I'll have one." Marco said with a grin.

[izzyalienqueen]

"Goof," she laughed, tossing a still warm muffin over to him. "How's life treating you?"

[morpherboy]

Marco fumbled but eventually caught the muffin. "Adorable goof." He corrected. "And the ceiling hasn't caved in yet, so I'm going to go for good. You?"

[izzyalienqueen]

"About the same," Isabel replied. "No zombies or other monsters. I haven't been gremlin bit and embarrassed myself. All in all? Things are good."

"You know, I've been here almost a year and still? No gremlins. Are you sure they're even real?" Marco asked with a grin.

[izzyalienqueen]

"Oh yeah," she nodded. "I've seen them. I've seen what happens when people are bitten. They're very, very real."

[morpherboy]

"What's your favorite gremlin story then?"

[izzyalienqueen]

"Luke and Gavin thinking they were Siegfried and Roy," Isabel said immediately.

Marco paused for a moment. "Which one got bitten by a tiger?"

[izzyalienqueen]

"I don't remember. But they were pre-tiger bite. There was lots of glitter," she said. "It was amusing."

[morpherboy]

"Lots of..." Marco processed and burst out laughing.

[izzyalienqueen]

Isabel snickered and took another bite of her muffin. "Yup, that was my reaction as well."
